Network Information
The Australian Multimode Network is comprised of 5 servers that together perform all of the functions of the network. The servers are:
Pridenet1 (Sydney)
This is the heart of the system. Pridenet1 hosts a DVDU DMR master (dmr.vkradio.com), most of the digital reflectors, all AllStar conferences and all of the transcoders between the different modes. The server runs Docker to achieve all of these functions in one system and keep it manageable. Pridenet1 is named after the first network it officially hosted - the Pride Radio Network.
Key public systems on Pridenet1 are:
44net (Melbourne)
44net is primarily a router, providing a block of BGP routed 44net Amateur IPv4 addresses for the network. 44net also hosts a number of public EchoLink proxies and EchoLink relays for the Amateur community, along with experimental systems, including an IPv6 only M17 reflector - M17-IP6.
Key public systems on 44net are:
REF9550 (Melbourne)
REF9550 is the original system, hosting IRLP reflector 9550 and D-STAR REF023. REF9550 also hosts a number of Echolink conferences, most of which are integrated with the IRLP reflector. Additional Echolink proxies are also hosted here. For more information about IRLP reflector 9550, click here. For more information about D-STAR REF023, click here.
44-gateway (Melbourne)
44-gateway is a virtual (cloud) router that manages access to the 44net (ampr) Amateur Radio IP network (44.0.0.0/9 and 44.128.0.0/10). 44-gateway connects to the global amateur IPIP network, providing connectivity to a /24 block of IP addresses which are primarily for servicing the central Victoria area. 44-gateway also enables connectivity to selected hosted services from BGP routed space within the 44net range via its internal NAT gateway. See the Data Services page for more information.
AMBE Transcoder Site (Bendigo)
The AMBE transcoder hosts hardware transcoders for AMBE transcoding as required by some of the digital voice modes. As the bulk of the systems are hosted on virtual machines in data centres, a site with physical access was needed to patch in the AMBE hardware. This server also hosts the FARPN IRC server at irc.vkradio.com, which is reachable from Amateur 44net IP space.

Key public systems on Pridenet1 are:
- DVDU DMR master server.
- M17-432 multichannel M17 Reflector.
- XLX432 multichannel D-STAR/YSF/DMR Reflector (non transcoding).
- ASL hubs 27154, 21991, 21993, 21996, 21997.
- EchoLink VK3JED-L.
- Multiple YSF, NXDN, P25 Reflectors (see Networks for more information).

- Experimental USRP to EchoLink/IRLP Bridge.
- Public EchoLink Proxies for use by all Amateurs.
